USA Women's Hockey team threatens boycott of World Championships

Members of the 2017 U.S.A women's hockey team are threatening to boycott this month's Women's World Hockey Championships in Michigan if they don't see significant improvement in their negotiations with USA hockey on issues like equal pay and equal support. 

Former Wisconsin Badgers Hilary Knight and Brianna Decker posted identical statement to social media on Wednesday.

The 2017 team features four former Badgers. Knight, Decker, Alex Rigsby and team captain Meghan Duggan. You can read more about the potential boycott here.
