Following Thursday night's action, Sun Prairie stands alone at the top of the Big Eight.
On a night when many area games were postponed due to expected poor weather, Sun Prairie met La Follette in a key game in the Big Eight conference race. A La Follette win would even up the records between the Cardinals and Lancers; Sun Prairie could move to first place all alone with a victory.
Sun Prairie wasted no time getting going early, leading at the half by seven, before Jalen Johnson's backboard-shifting dunk (watch below) shifted the backboard supports and gave the Cardinals a 22-point lead with a few minutes to play.
