Verona lost in heartbreaking fashion on last year's sectional final to Beloit Memorial, which gave all of the returning players some motivation heading into the 2018 season. Coach Brad D'Orazio thinks that Verona, one of four ranked teams in D1 that plays in the Big 8 Conference, has their work cut out for them before they can even begin to think about the postseason, however. Coach D'Orazio previews his squad for this season and points to experience as a boon for Verona.
