Matt Kenseth gets ready for 2018 debut at Kansas

Matt Kenseth's first race of 2018 will be at Kansas Speedway. What are the expectations for Kenseth in his debut in the #6?

Kenseth told NASCAR Radio that he's looking forward to getting back out on to the track, and is happy to have a talented team and crew behind him for his first race. On expectations, Kenseth said he isn't sure, because he hasn't actually gone out and raced yet.

Kenseth never officially retired from the sport in 2017, but didn't have a full-time ride lined up for 2018. However, a few weeks ago, an announcement was made by Roush Fenway Racing that they were bringing Kenseth in for a select number of races for the 2018 season in the #6 car normally driven by Trevor Bayne.
