NWL: Lakeshore, Kenosha now tied for South Division lead

Lakeshore's winning streak came to an end Tuesday night in a loss to Fond du Lac, while Kenosha walloped Madison to force a tie atop the South Division standings in the Northwoods League.

Kenosha 14, Madison 6 - Six different Kingfish players hit home runs in the victory, the most in a game this season. At one point, the Kingfish hit back-to-back-to-back home runs in the eighth inning.

Fond du Lac 2, Lakeshore 0 - The Chinooks offense went quiet and failed to provide starting pitcher Jacob Lindemann with any run support. The Dock Spiders went on to snap the Chinooks winning streak with a 2-0 win.

Eau Claire 6, Mankato 1 - The Eau Claire Express (4-3) bounced back from a tough loss and downed the Mankato MoonDogs (4-3) by a score of 6-1. Eau Claire’s bats showed life and starter Revels dazzled on the mound.
