Steve Stricker charges up leaderboard on day 2 of John Deere Classic

After hanging out in the projected cut zone on the first day of the John Deere Classic, Edgerton's Steve Stricker moved all the way up to 24th by the end of round two of the John Deere Classic in Silvis, IL.

Stricker had a stretch of three straight birdies during his five-under Friday, including a near-ace on a par-3.

Michael Kim leads after the second day of the event with a -15 mark, nine strokes ahead of Stricker. Four players are tied for second at 12-under.
