Can J.J. Watt regain his form as one of the NFL's top defenders?

After missing 24 games in the past two seasons following a four-year run as a first-team All-Pro, can J.J. Watt return to form as one of the best defensive players in the NFL?

The same questions were asked after the 2016 season, in which Watt missed 13 games because of injury. After piling up 74.5 sacks in his first five seasons in the NFL, Watt had only 1.5 sacks in 2016 before his injury, and didn't record a sack last year in five games.

If Watt can return to full health, at 29 years old, he should be right in the prime of his career. Pro Football Focus takes a look at what it will take for Watt to regain his league-topping form of only a few season ago.
