Cambridge faces Belleville in big Capitol South contest

Cambridge edged Belleville in a close contest last year, 25-19, and with most of the players back on both sides, this year's game is for playoff eligibility and a path to the Capitol South championship.

Cambridge is 6-0, while Belleville is 5-1 with their lone loss to the other defending Capitol South champ, New Glarus/Monticello, in Week 5. Cambridge coach Mike Klingbeil says that with so much familiarity on both sides, he wouldn't expect anything but another close, well-played game.

Klingbeil says the tough schedule this year, including wins over Trailways-Large leader Horicon/Hustisford (a D4-sized program), has helped prepare the Blue Jays for some of these big games down the stretch.
