Cambridge set to face Racine Lutheran in Division 6 playoffs

Undefeated Capitol South champion Cambridge will battle Racine Lutheran in Level 3 of the 2018 WIAA State Football Tournament in Division 6.

Coach Mike Klingbeil says that facing Racine Lutheran will be like looking in the mirror, with speed, talented skill position players, and athletes along the lines. Even in terms of play style, Cambridge should see some familiar traits in their opponent this week.

The Blue Jays have made it to Level 3 four times since 2008, but have lost all four games. Racine Lutheran has played in a Level 3 game three times in the same span, going 1-2, including a loss last year. Cambridge won the state title in 1979 and was runner-up in 1986.
