Edgerton's first playoff trip since 2013 has also been one of the Tiders' most rewarding, as the two playoff wins this year are more than any other season in school history. Edgerton meets Capitol North champion Lakeside Lutheran in a Division 4 Level 3 game Friday.
Coach Mike Gregory credits experience being the main factor for this season's success. At 10-1, most of the current team has been playing on varsity for multiple seasons, some already into their third year of starting. Gregory says that the Tiders took their lumps for a couple years, but this year's juniors and seniors have benefited from the experience earned over the past two seasons.
