Football: Wisconsin offense still sorting out line, quarterback

It's too soon to set a two-deep, according to Wisconsin Badgers Offensive Coordinator Joe Rudolph, but he's excited about how the offensive line and quarterback positions have progressed in spring camp.

In regards to the highly-publicized quarterback battle in the wake of Alex Hornibrook's transfer, Rudolph says that the best thing about the four-player group is that they all play to their own styles. Regardless of experience, Rudolph likes what he's seeing from all four (Graham Mertz, Jack Coan, Danny Vanden Boom, Chase Wolf).

Along the offensive line, Rudolph is looking for the players who want it the most, and with essentially five starting positions up for grabs, he's encouraged by the improvement of some of last year's role players. While it's too soon to declare the five starters, there's positive developments along the line.
