Steve Flesch jumped to the top of the leaderboard after the second round of the AmFam Championship at University Ridge in Madison with a 65 to put him at 11-under for the tournament.
One stroke back is Steve Stricker, who has shot back-to-back 67 scores to put him at 10-under and tied for second with Billy Andrade and Dusty Waldorf.
Two strokes back is first-round leader Jerry Kelly, who shot a 70 in the second round to drop his score to nine-under, and a tie with Retief Goosen and Tom Pernice, Jr. for fifth place.
Ken Tanigawa also shot a 65 in round two, joining Kelly and Flesch as the only golfers in the event to card that score so far at the AmFam Championship.
The third and final round is Sunday.
