Yes, Wisconsin golf courses are closed under the Safer At Home order

The Safer At Home order by Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers specifically closes golf courses across Wisconsin.

In the order issued Tuesday, Evers notes that golf courses are not considered an essential business. Limited staff can remain to perform minimum basic operations.

The clarification came after the original order only mentioned country clubs, but has been updated to close all golf courses in the state.

Gary D'Amato of Wisconsin.golf detailed some of the courses that were already open that were being forced to close under the order, while also noting some of the state's premiere courses had yet to open.
