For the second straight day, the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Cincinnati Reds 2-0 on the strength of outstanding pitching and an Eric Thames two-run home run.
It's the first time in franchise history that a player has accounted for all of the scoring in back-to-back shutout victories, according to the Milwaukee Brewers. Thames hit a two-run home run in Tuesday night's 2-0 victory over Cincinnati as well.
The Brewers took the three-game series two games to one.
