Brewers sweep Reds, win 3-1 on Wednesday night

Christian Yelich hit a go-ahead home run and the Brewers got a save from Jeremy Jeffress for the second consecutive day to beat the Reds 3-1 and sweep the series.

Milwaukee, which has rebounded with three straight wins since being swept four games to none against the Chicago Cubs this past weekend, has now won 11 of their past 15 games.

Jeffress had a five-out save on Tuesday night in a 7-6 Brewers win. Josh Hader had a record-setting performance, striking out eight batters in under three innings of work, to close out Monday's series-opening 6-5 win.

Milwaukee gets a day off before playing the Pittsburgh Pirates this weekend at Miller Park.
