On a day when the Brewers already had several injury updates to their roster, Milwaukee's starting pitcher went down in the first inning.
Milwaukee was able to use its outstanding bullpen to steady the ship and deliver a 3-2 victory for the Brewers.
Wade Miley left the game with an oblique injury, so Brent Suter checked in and pitched through the fifth inning. Suter also hit a solo home run in the win.
In addition to Miley's injury, the Brewers learned that they would not get catcher Stephen Vogt back this season. However, Corey Knebel is set to be activated for Wednesday's game against Cleveland.
