Milwaukee hit four home runs en route to an 8-2 thrashing of Arizona on Wednesday to give the Brewers a series win over the Diamondbacks.
The win also guarantees the Brewers will not have a losing record on this 10-game road trip, in which they are currently 5-2 heading into their weekend series against the Minnesota Twins.
Christian Yelich, Domingo Santana (video below), Travis Shaw, and Tyler Saladino all hit home runs off of Arizona starting pitcher Matt Koch. Three of them came with two outs in the inning.
Brewers starter Brandon Woodruff allowed two runs in the first inning, but settled in to toss five innings of one-hit ball. Milwaukee's stellar bullpen threw four scoreless innings with five strikeouts.
