Corey Kluber improved to 9-2 on the season, allowing one run in seven innings to help Cleveland beat Milwaukee 3-2 on Tuesday night in the first game of a two-game series.
Kluber did allow seven hits, but also had seven strikeouts and no walks in the victory.
Milwaukee got a solo home run in the top of the ninth from Travis Shaw off of a reliever, but fell just short in their rally.
