Ryan Braun's two home runs helped power the Brewers past the Phillies 12-4 on Friday night.
After racking up plenty of hits but no runs to show for it in a two-game sweep at the hands of Cleveland, Milwaukee pounded Philadelphia for 13 hits and a dozen runs in the series opener with the Phillies.
Jhoulys Chacin threw six and a third innings and earned the victory.
Milwaukee improved to 2-4 on their current eight-game road trip, with two games remaining at Philadelphia. The Brewers will play the Chicago Cubs at home next week.
