Milwaukee wrapped up an eight-game road trip with a record of 3-5 heading into this week's series with the Chicago Cubs after the Brewers lost on Sunday to Philadelphia 4-3.
The Brewers could only muster three hits off of Phillies starter Zach Eflin, after Milwaukee went for 12 runs in back-to-back games to open the series.
With a half-game lead on Chicago entering play Monday's series with the Cubs, the Brewers have seen their NL Central lead shrink to a virtual tie with Chicago while the Cubs have won eight of their last ten. Milwaukee has won just one game against the Cubs this season.
