Freddy Peralta struggled early, the Brewers' offense mustered only four hits, and the Reds slugged their second grand slam in as many days as Cincinnati topped Milwaukee 8-2 on Sunday to split the four-game series.
Peralta allowed five hits and three runs in five innings of work. Aaron Wilkerson, called up from Triple-A Colorado Springs to soak up some innings, allowed a grand slam in the bottom of the sixth, which ended any hope of a Brewers comeback.
Matt Harvey allowed just two hits as the Reds starter in five and two-thirds innings pitched, with no walks and six strikeouts.
Travis Shaw collected two of the Brewers' hits. Milwaukee didn't get on the board until the top of the ninth inning, when the score was already 8-0.
