Milwaukee got to Washington's bullpen, as Hernan Perez cleared the bases with a home run in the ninth inning.
Freddy Peralta allowed seven runs and walked four batters in six innings, while striking out seven. Jorge Lopez closed out the game with three scoreless innings, allowing no hits or walks.
Milwaukee heads to San Francisco next to begin a pair of four-game series out on the west coast against the Giants and the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Brewers will be back home again August 3.
