Eric Thames capped a bottom-of-the-ninth rally for the Milwaukee Brewers by blasting a three-run home run to give Milwaukee a 5-3 win over the Colorado Rockies on Friday night.
Junior Guerra pitched eight strong innings, giving up three runs, five hits, and striking out six Rockies. However, the offense waited until the last inning to get into the action, and finished the night with only four hits including Thames' game-winning home run.
Corbin Burnes pitched a scoreless ninth to get the win. Christian Yelich hit a solo home run in the sixth inning.
It was the eighth walk-off win by the Brewers this season.
