Milwaukee's loss to Chicago drops the Brewers two games back in the NL Central, with one final game in the series left at Wrigley against the Cubs on Wednesday night.
Jhoulys Chacin and the Brewers' bullpen only gave up three hits in the game, but that's all the Cubs needed to take down Milwaukee. The Brewers could only muster three hits of their own in the loss. Jose Quintana again had a big outing against the Brewers, pitching into the seventh inning giving up only three hits while striking out seven.
The final game of the series on Wednesday night will put the Brewers either one game back with a win or three games back with a loss heading into the final two weeks of the regular season.
