Yasmani Grandal hit two home runs for the Brewers, but Milwaukee wasn't able to overcome three home runs by the Los Angeles Angels in an 11-8 loss on Tuesday night.
Milwaukee was able to collect 10 hits on the night, but Los Angeles got a dozen of their own, including a pair of home runs by Tommy La Stella, to take the game and the series from the Brewers.
Freddy Peralta gave up eight hits and seven runs in thiree and one-third innings pitched for the Brewers, while the bullpen allowed another four runs across as Milwaukee lost its second game in a row.
The series finale is Wednesday night at Los Angeles. The Brewers stay in L.A. for a three-game series with the Dodgers Friday through Sunday in an NLCS rematch.
