Willson Contreras hit a home run in the bottom of the 15th inning to give the Chicago Cubs a 2-1 walk-off win over the Milwaukee Brewers at Wrigley Field on Saturday afternoon.
Milwaukee only mustered four hits in the loss, and the Brewers went through seven pitchers. Zach Davies pitched into the seventh inning, allowing just one run on six hits. Burch Smith, who pitched three and one-third innings at the end of the game, gave up the game-winning blast.
Several roster moves are expected as the Brewers try to find fresh arms for Sunday night's tilt in the series' rubber match.
