Punctuated by a Christian Yelich grand slam in the seventh inning, the Milwaukee Brewers clobbered the Atlanta Braves 13-1 on Tuesday night at Miller Park.
The grand slam was the second of Yelich's career.
Milwaukee piled up 13 hits in the win, including a 3-for-3 night by Keston Hiura, Hiura's second straight game with three hits.
Brandon Woodruff pitched into the seventh inning, allowing five hits and one run while striking out seven.
The 13 runs scored by Milwaukee match a season-high.
The rubber match of the series is Wednesday at Miller Park.
