Christian Yelich's walk-off hit delivered the Milwaukee Brewers a 3-2 win over the Chicago Cubs, keeping the Brewers alive in the playoff race for another night.
The RBI was the 500th of Yelich's career. It was another MVP performance for the slugger, who drew three walks while going 2-for-2 at the plate.
Gio Gonzalez worked five innings of one-run ball before giving way to the bullpen. Josh Hader came in to break the Brewers out of a jam in the eighth inning, and earned the victory for Milwaukee.
Game four of the series is Sunday at Miller Park as the Brewers try to win the series 3-1.
