Eric Sogard's walk-off ninth-inning home run gave the Milwaukee Brewers a 7-6 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates Saturday night at Miller Park.
The home run, the first of the season for Sogard, capped off the second rally in late innings versus the Pirates.
Milwaukee trailed 4-2 entering the bottom of the seventh, but scored one run in the frame and two more in the bottom of the eighth to take a 5-4 lead.
Josh Hader took the mound for Milwaukee, having dominated opponents in every appearance, but issued five walks and lasted just one out before giving way to Devin Williams. Pittsburgh scored twice in the top of the ninth to take a 6-5 lead.
Sogard rallied Milwaukee for a second time, a two-run home run to give the Brewers the win.
