Milwaukee outscored Atlanta 43-14 in the opening quarter of the Bucks' 144-112 win over the Hawks, allowing Milwaukee to rest its starters and prepare for Saturday's big showdown against Toronto at Fiserv Forum.
No starter played more than 22 minutes, and all 12 Bucks that saw action scored at least eight points in the big victory. Khris Middleton and Malcolm Brogdon each had 19, while Giannis Antetokounmpo had a near-triple double with 16 points, 10 assists, and eight rebounds in just 19 minutes of work as the Bucks easily blew out the Hawks in coach Mike Budenholzer's first game against his former team.
Milwaukee also padded its league leads in points per game and point differential. The Bucks are outscoring opponents by nearly 10 points per game this season.
