Minus their top player and MVP candidate, the Milwaukee Bucks were unable to rally to take down the Washington Wizards on Friday night, falling 113-106.
A 40-point first quarter for Washington left the Bucks playing catch-up the rest of the way. Milwaukee managed to get six players into double figures, led by Khris Middleton with 25 points and a near-triple double effort from Eric Bledsoe (18 points, nine rebounds, eight assists), but Tomáš Satoranský had an actual triple-double (18 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists) and Bradley Beal tossed in 30 points to lead the Wizards to victory.
Milwaukee wraps up their three-game road trip at Atlanta on Sunday afternoon. Giannis Antetokounmpo missed Friday's game with a quadriceps injury as well as a bruised hip.
