Bucks drubbed in homestand finale

The Bucks five-game winning streak ended with a thud on Tuesday night to the Denver Nuggets, getting outplayed in “every facet of the game,” according to coach Mike Budenholzer after the carnage had ended, the final score 128-97.

From the three-point line, Milwaukee was just 11-40 (27.5%) and overall, the Bucks shot just 40.5% (32-79), while Denver blistered the nets, shooting 55.8% (53-95) for the game.

Milwaukee (21-14) was led by Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 27 points and 8 rebounds, while Denver (20-15) was led by Nikola Jokic’ triple double of 37 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists. This is Jokic’ ninth triple-double of the season, as he continues to make a push for league MVP honors.

After the Bucks now-concluded eight-game homestand, they hit the road for one at Memphis on Thursday night before the NBA’s All Star Game this weekend.
