Holiday's game winner sends the Bucks into the break on a high note

Jrue Holiday's 11-foot jumper with two seconds left game the Milwaukee Bucks a 112-111 lead against the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday night. from there, all Memphis had time for was a desperation heave from Desmond Bane that was well short, and the Bucks came away with an important, if ugly at times, victory.

The fourth quarter proved to be troublesome for the Bucks (22-14) who at one point missed 8 of 10 shots from the field and fell behind Memphis (16-16) by as many as seven points midway through the final frame. Grizzlies guard Ja Morant led all scorers with 35 points on 11-25 shooting (but just 3-13 from the three point line).

Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee with 26 points and 11 rebounds, but Holiday's 15 points in 22 minutes off the bench that proved to be the shot in the arm the Bucks needed heading into the All-Star Break. Holiday continues to get stronger each days after experiencing severe COVID symptoms that sidelined him entirely for 10 games.

The NBA now goes on it's rescheduled All-Star Break. All events will take place Sunday in Atlanta.
