Stop Acting Like LeBron's Championship at the NBA's Bubble Was Challenging

Ben Maller: “Damian Lillard pointed out that the games in the Bubble were ‘way easier’ than the usual daily grind of a typical NBA season… It is refreshing to hear an NBA superstar take a sideways step away from the establishment here. Many of the NBA stars embellished the Bubble, and how ‘difficult’ it was… The people that were covering the Bubble made it seem like it was tyrannical: ‘HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY EXPECT THESE NBA BALLPLAYERS TO LIVE AT A RESORT FOR SEVERAL MONTHS!’ They acted like Adam Silver put guard towers up, and barbed wire around the Bubble. In reality, the NBA spent millions, and even up to a BILLION dollars to treat the players like aristocrats, and tend to their every want, need, and desire. Resort pool – check. Golf – check. Tennis – check. Barbershop – check. You want a mani? You want a pedi?? CHECK, CHECK. How about 24-hour VIP concierge? Check. Players only lounge? CHECK. Daily entertainment, including advanced movie screenings, DJ sets, video games galore, and they were also separated from the evil media. There was no travel, no unwashed fans, and no booing. All these guys were going on about how difficult it was, and Damian Lillard said ‘No, no, it was NOT’… The real loser in these comments is LEBRON JAMES. After the Lakers won their little Mickey Mouse ring, LeBron went to the church of victimhood as he often does, and talked about what a ‘huge challenge’ it was to be in Orlando. Damian Lillard has come down from the top rope, body slamming LeBron with his version of events.” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Ben Maller explain why he thinks Damian Lillard’s recent comments on how much ‘easier’ it was to play inside the NBA’s Bubble in Orlando as opposed to a typical NBA season, made LeBron James’ narrative of the journey to his fourth championship being so challenging look like a bogus charade.

Check out the video above as Maller details why LeBron was the biggest loser of Lillard’s revealing admissions that directly opposed everything LeBron had said about the Bubble.
