Defending Division 3 champion Marshall takes their title defense into the sectional semifinal round against Shoreland Lutheran Thursday night.
Coach Alex Koeller believes that the difficult schedule the Cardinals played this year has prepared them for what they'll see Thursday (and hopefully beyond). Koeller also says that the team has played with a target on their back all year, so his young team has gained plenty of experience in addition to their run to the title a season ago.
