After falling in sectionals the past two seasons, the Mount Horeb Vikings bring back loads of experience to challenge in the tough Badger North this season.
So far, the Vikings have had no trouble scoring. Mount Horeb has scored at least 10 runs in five of their seven games so far in the 2019 season, including a 22-run outburst last weekend.
The Vikings bring back experience and a future Division 1 college pitcher in Tyler Denu for this year's squad in a deep Badger North Conference. Denu, who will pitch at Evansville, is one of the biggest keys to success for the Vikings in 2019, especially in a conference that features the defending Division 1 state champions in Waunakee. Mount Horeb will see the Warriors in April.
