Lake Mills won the Capitol North with a big win over Lodi last week, and the L-Cats now get set to play for home field in the playoffs if they can go 5-0 in league play after this Friday.
Coach Dan Ferkovich has led Lake Mills to a 7-1 record that includes good showings in a loss to D3 playoff teams Menomonie and Onalaska, as well as (so far) a sweep through the conference. Quarterback Adam Moen, a junior, has accumulated 2,200 passing yards and nearly 700 rushing yards and is in consideration for state offensive player of the year.
This week's game is big for Lake Mills, as the L-Cats will look to contend in a crowded Division 4 contender field in 2019, as Coach Ferkovich tells The Big 1070:
