HSFB: Stoughton wins second-ever home playoff game

Coach Dan Prahl of Stoughton joined The Big 1070 to talk about the Vikings' playoff win over Sauk Prairie, 26-13, on Friday night to open the playoffs. It was the second playoff win in school history, both coming in the past three seasons, and both coming at Collins Field in Stoughton.

Prahl told The Big 1070 that he was proud of how well his defensive line executed, disrupting Sauk Prairie's offense for most of the game. The Vikings got monster performances from their starting four, including Curtis Jaskulke, Brooks Empey (who also rushed for 109 yards and a touchdown), Jack Nelson (the Badgers recruit who had a big day on the offensive line), and Barrett Nelson.

With Monroe coming up next, Prahl said that they know what kind of challenge the Cheesemakers present, as Monroe brings in two likely 1,000-yard rushers and familiarity as the teams met only a few weeks ago in the regular season.
