Popkewitz's goal came at the 13' mark of the match, while Gamez added an unassisted goal at 86' to clinch the title for Verona.
Popkewitz also had a goal in the semifinal win over Kenosha Tremper, as did Jack Knight and Gannon Simonett, who assisted on the first Verona goal in the championship match.
