With a win on Tuesday over Stoughton, the Oregon Panthers are now in position to clinch a share of the Badger South Conference championship as early as Friday night.
Oregon, 10-1 in the Badger South, takes on Milton on Friday night. If Edgewood (8-3) defeats Watertown (7-2), the Panthers will earn a share of the league crown if Oregon can knock off Milton.
The key this year, according to coach Adam Wamsley, has been chemistry and experience. For the most part, the Panthers play an unselfish brand of basketball, but have a deep roster of capable shooters and defenders.
