Former Cowboys tight end and new Monday Night Football analyst Jason Witten says his former teammate, wide receiver Dez Bryant, would be a good fit with the Green Bay Packers.
That was his opinion as told to Adam Schefter, discussing possible landing spots for Bryant. Witten believes that Bryant could help on back-shoulder throws and fill the void left by the Packers' release of Jordy Nelson, and touted the pairing of Bryant and Packers offseason acquisition Jimmy Graham with Aaron Rodgers would be tough to stop.
Witten did clarify later in the interview, saying that he had no inside information about the situation.
Lucas in the Morning's Mike Lucas, Robb Vogel, and Joel Finkelman wonder what it all means and why we're still talking about Dez Bryant signing with the Packers, when it seems improbable.
