Brad Davison is at the center of yet another controversial play, this time against Michigan, as hook-and-hold foul calls are adding stress to college basketball.
Wisconsin has been dealing with hook-and-hold call situations all year , as the new emphasis on the play has resulted in longer games, more frequent reviews, and, naturally, controversy. Davison was called for one in the second half against Michigan, and while it wasn't the sole difference in the contest, it did give Michigan four points in free throws at a crucial juncture of what ended up a 61-52 loss.
Mike Lucas and Robb Vogel debate the rule and how it's applied, and how it may need some review this offseason.
