With a young roster, coach Tony Granato wanted the Wisconsin Badgers to gain some experience ahead of the 2019-20 season, so the Badgers traveled to Vancouver to play in a pair of exhibition games in Canada.
Todd Milewski of the Wisconsin State Journal joined the team in Canada and offered his early insights on this year's team. The young Badgers showed flashes of talent, but questions remain ahead of the regular season as well. One thing of note is that the Badgers have some high-end players at key spots, and those players had great trips. Goaltending might be a question in the upcoming campaign, however.
