It's no secret that the Chicago Bears have one of the NFL's top defenses, but the key for the Bears this Thursday night (and the season in general) will be whether quarterback Mitchell Trubisky takes another leap in his development.
Adam Hoge of WGN says that Trubisky has gotten much better over the course of the 2018 season, and that consistency from the quarterback position could be a plus for the Bears this season. Having a defense with playmakers at every level and that may have gotten even better over last year certainly helps any team, but Trubisky could put Chicago over the top.
