Squandered opportunities in a low possession game are always magnified and the Badgers came up empty in final poss of regulation and penultimate poss of overtime. Had chance to win (former) and take lead (latter). Failed to convert both. Gave up too many 2nd chance points (14-6)
Unlike NCAA, Brad Davison didn't give a pass (or waiver) to Logan Johnson on post-ups & drives to the rim. Johnson started & played 35 minutes. Had 5 points, 2 rebounds. Add Micah Potter's modest numbers at very least from 59 games at OSU (4.1 pts, 2.8 reb) & Badgers win 67.1-65
Jordan Ford had quickness/offensive creativity of a Markus Howard. Tandem of Ford/Malik Fitts combined for 42 pts. Nate Reuvers/Brad Davison nearly matched with 38 pts. Won't see slower tempo all year. Both teams walked the ball up the floor. Throwback game in a throwback arena
