Clay Travis: 43-Year-Old Tom Brady Could Play NFL Football Into His 50's

Clay Travis: “I thought Bill Belichick was going to coach a lot longer in the NFL than Tom Brady is going to play in the NFL. I don’t know about you guys, but if you look at the number of yards he threw for, the touchdown passes, and all of those performances, it makes it appear like Brady has got several years left… I was watching Tom Brady play on Saturday night and I was thinking ’45?? This dude may play until he’s 50!’ I don’t have any doubt at all that barring significant injury, he’s going to play on the 44th year, and the 45th year. He looks like he’s getting younger. He looks like the ‘Benjamin Button’ of football. Brady looks like he’s younger now than he did five years ago. It’s uncanny. Whatever he’s doing I gotta sign up for the ‘TB12’ method. I took a picture with my 10-year-old at the Ravens-Titans game and posted it on social media, and I looked at the picture right before I put it up and I was like ‘I’m two years younger than Tom Brady and I look 20 years older than he does. I gotta get on the TB12 method!' How much older does Ben Roethlisberger look than Tom Brady?? Big Ben looks like me, and like he’s 62 years old. Tom Brady looks like he’s 28.” (Full Segment Above)

Listen to Clay Travis explain why he legitimately believes Tom Brady could play until he’s 50 years old, as the 43-year-old just came off a blusterous 2020 season in which he ranked tied for second in the league in touchdown passes, third in passing yards, and 9th in QBR for a Bucs team who made the playoffs for the first time since 2007.

Check out the video above as Clay details why he thinks it’s possibly Brady accomplishes the impossible, and becomes the oldest NFL player ever, outlasting George Blanda’s 48.
