Green Bay Packers second-round pick Josh Jackson of Iowa will bring play-making ability to the secondary. After eight interceptions in 2017, the tape seems to confirm this assessment.
So, is Jackson a one-year wonder?
Not so fast, according to the Packers' front office. For starters, this is what Iowa does with their players. And, Jackson played behind two future NFL corners.
With the pick, the Packers have invested heavily in the cornerback position in their past four drafts, picking five corners in the first two rounds. One is no longer with the team, traded to Cleveland (Damarious Randall). Green Bay has picked defensive backs with their top two selections in three of the past four drafts.
