With interior lineman leaving for big contracts in other cities, the Green Bay Packers have been consistent at left tackle with David Bakhtiari, which buoys the rest of the offensive line.
Tackle is a premium position in the NFL, and the Packers have invested heavily, in both draft picks and the contract they gave Bakhtiari to stick around in Green Bay. Meanwhile, the interior line has seen several players depart for bigger paydays elsewhere, leaving some positions looking more like a revolving door than a source of stability. However, despite the down year for the offense in 2017, the offensive line did relatively well by comparison.
Keeping Aaron Rodgers on the field is job number one, and despite the lack of big names or top draft picks up front, the Packers seem to find a way to keep it together on the line each week.
