Packers' defensive line could be key to 2018 turnaround

In addition to hiring Mike Pettine as defensive coordinator, the front line could be the key to an effective turnaround for the Green Bay Packers' defense in 2018.

The Packers signed Mo Wilkerson this offseason, putting him on the same line as former top pick Kenny Clark and the position group's leader, Mike Daniels. Holdovers such as Montravious Adams provide some depth as well, but it'll be Clark, Daniels, and Wilkerson that will be pulling the heavy duty in 2018 as Green Bay works to balance their defense a bit, especially in defending the pass.

One way to get the pass defense better? Get after the quarterback. Green Bay's trio of top defensive lineman are adept at doing just that, and that could be a big reason for optimism in Green Bay that the Packers' defense takes a step forward.
