San Francisco raced out to a 27-0 lead by halftime and Green Bay never recovered as the 49ers ran to victory on Sunday in Santa Clara 37-20 over the Packers in the NFC Championship Game.
49ers running back Raheem Mostert ran for 220 yards and four touchdowns to pace San Francisco, which makes its seventh Super Bowl.
Aaron Rodgers went 31 of 39 for 326 yards and two touchdowns, but lost a fumble and was intercepted twice, albeit one on a desperation heave in the final two minutes of the game.
Under Rodgers, the Packers are 1-3 in NFC Championship Games.
After a 13-3 regular season and a trip to the NFC Championship, the Packers have bounced back from two seasons missing the playoffs. Big decisions, including a contract extension for running back Aaron Jones, loom this offseason.
